Tourist activities

The municipality of Bardonecchia occupies a magnificent amphitheatre-like basin at the confluence of the Melezet, Rho, Frejus and Rochemolles valleys.

Bardonecchia and its outlying villages conserve a wealth of artistic and historical testimonies. The Parish Church of Sant'Ippolito, rebuilt in 1832, is worth a particular mention due to the fascinating works of gothic and baroque art it preserves within.
There are numerous other chapels and churches scattered throughout the valley, such as the churches of Rochemolles, Melezet, Les Arnauds and Millaures, all of which house a number of precious frescoes.
